I’ve been an electrician in Bristol for over 15 years now, working in various settings, including care homes, schools, hospitals and more. Over time, I’ve discovered that I most enjoyed working in domestic settings, carrying out fault finding and smaller jobs and getting to build a relationship with my customers. I began to take on small works by myself in 2011, working weekends and evenings, whilst working for an electrical company 9-5. Following COVID, I was inspired to take the leap and go it alone full time.
Fairway Electrical was born in 2021. I am immensely proud of the business I have built based on the solid foundations of quality workmanship, outstanding customer service, and clear communication. I have worked hard to stand out from the crowd and always aim to exceed expectations.
When I’m not carrying out electrical work, I like to enjoy a round of golf at Knowle Golf club in Brislington where I have been a member on and off for 36 years. As you may have guessed from the name, the fairway is one of my favourite places to be!
Whilst golf holds a special place in my heart, by far my favourite place to be is with my family. I am the proud husband to a beautiful NHS nursing hero of a wife and father to two wonderful kids. We are a sporty, outdoors family and so our weekends and evenings often include a sports club for one or both children. We can be found on the sidelines at the Somerdale Pavilion in Keynsham cheering on Red Falcons FC or gasping in amazement at some spectacular gymnastic feat.
I’m often asked what my aims for the future of Fairway Electrical are, right now I am happy to be growing a reputation for excellence amongst my local community in Bristol. In the near future, I would like to give back to the community and take on an apprentice, passing on my skills to the next generation.
